Crown Point Road Active Travel Scheme

Highways Leeds have confirmed work on this segment of cycle lane will start from the 4/7/22. They will initially undertaking some lining works outside the Ibis Hotel which will reduce southbound traffic to a single lane, this will then enable them to begin working on the East Street island.

This works is expected to run up to February 2023 however the majority of the works can be safely undertaken on minimalistic traffic management which will allow all the running lanes to remain open, therefore the disturbance to traffic through the area will be minimal.

There maybe times however where a lane closure is required but this will never be done during the peak periods in order to minimise the impact on traffic.
