Whitehall Waterfront Pocket Park

Cllr Mohammed Iqbal and I would like to apologies for the ongoing delays in delivering this important park for the riverside community in this area of Leeds City Centre. Sadly, there have been ongoing issues with access to the site to allow the council’s contractors to start construction work.

We have now advised the construction work should start in mid-August, with most of the scheme completed a month later, and some tree planting undertaken later in the year.

Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee there won’t be further delays due to site access, but we are ensuring there is pressures applied to reduce the likelihood of this.
