  • Completed improvements to Parnaby Corner with the installation of new planters, trees, and a bench.

  • Increased the size of the Hunslet Carr Christmas light display

  • Installed a new pedestrian island at Moor Road

  • Restored the Bile Bean Sign

  • Repaired the footpath next to Lewsowe Recreation

  • Planted a significant number of new trees at Pepper Road Park and installed new benches and play equipment

Leeds City Centre and Riverside

  • Secured funding to install new benches on the towpath between Leeds Dock and Thwaite Mill

  • We had a significant amount of poor-quality graffiti/tagging removed along the riverside

  • Supported the creation of David Oluwale bridge

  • Helped fund the purchase of a boat by Canal Connections to clean the water ways on the Aire

  • Agreed funding for five new lifelines across the river

  • Supported the delivery of a new Whitehall Riverside pocket park

  • Agreed to safety and light upgrades at Whitehall Bridge

  • Increased the number of litter bins in the residential areas of the city centre
