Rat-run traffic speeding through Hunslet and Beeston Hill side streets put children walking to local primary schools at risk.

Action

Paul petitioned Highways engineers, commissioned traffic speed surveys and funded physical traffic calming on Grove Road alongside 20mph limits.

Result

Vehicle speeds have dropped outside school gates, giving families safer crossings across LS10 and LS11.
