CITU Climate Innovation District Pedestrian Bridge

Problem

Communities south of the River Aire faced long detours across busy road bridges to reach jobs, schools and amenities on the north bank.

Action

Through planning leadership and riverside regeneration work, Paul backed the delivery of the new pedestrian and cycle bridge at the Climate Innovation District.

Result

Created a traffic-free walking and cycling link across the River Aire, cutting journey times for Hunslet and Riverside residents.
