Problem

Litter, fly-tipping and unmanaged overgrowth threatened waterside habitats at Fearns Island near Leeds Dock.

Action

Paul brought the Canal and River Trust and local volunteers together to agree a practical habitat management plan.

Result

Waterside wildlife habitats are protected and the riverbank remains clean and accessible for Leeds Dock residents.
