Hope Works Outreach Pilot Secured on Dewsbury Road

Beeston Hill

Problem

Residents and shopkeepers along the Dewsbury Road corridor reported persistent street drinking, vulnerability and anti-social behaviour.

Action

Paul worked with council officers, police and community leads to bid for and secure dedicated Home Office pilot funding in February 2026.

Result

Trained peer outreach workers now patrol the corridor, connecting vulnerable people with support services and reducing street disruption for LS11 residents.
