War Memorial Restorations in Stourton, Beeston & Hunslet

Problem

Weathering and grime had made the names of fallen servicemen hard to read on memorials at Stourton, St Peter's Court and Hunslet Cemetery.

Action

Paul worked with Keith at the Victoria Cross Trust for specialist stone cleaning and partnered with First Direct on historical information boards.

Result

Three local war memorials were restored ahead of Remembrance Sunday, and Stourton's working-class history is now permanently recorded on site.
