Anti-Social behaviour

 I'm aware of ongoing antisocial behaviour, criminality taking place in the bushes along Moor Chase Crescent, near Hunslet Moor, Beeston.

Working with Housing Leeds and the Greenspace Team, I've been able to have the Forest Team agree to remove all of the low-hanging branches below the crown, up to 3m, which will significantly improve sight lines and natural deterrence.

This is despite such work being classed as out of policy, as the trees themselves do not pose an immediate risk to individuals or property.

The current timescale on this is within six months.

However, due to ongoing issues in this location, I'll be meeting with the department later this coming week to discuss whether or not this work can be brought forward.
