Hunslet Moor Fromer Depot

Work will happen in two stages. Firstly we will look to remove the fence, which we believe can be reclaimed and reused elsewhere for another park's project in the ward, and the external gate will then be welded shut to secure the side of the site.

The second phase of the work will start after bird nesting season, with the removal of the bush line and limited clearance of a number of self-seeded low quality trees, with all mature quality trees being retained and trunk clearance work taking place where necessary to open up the sightlines.

In the long term, we believe the external boundary to the motorway is suitable for an additional line of trees, and we're now looking at a number of on-site projects to make the new space usable for residents.
