LEEDS FREEDOM QUARTER

 This ward, by almost every metric, is that most socially, economically, and culturally diverse place in Leeds, and it is the proud home of Leeds' LGBTQ+ Freedom Quarter, where most of Leeds' LGBTQ+ venues are located.

Most of my afternoon was spent dealing with issues related to Lower Briggate, from the post Leeds Pride feedback meeting, traffic issues, planning matters, and the installation of a council owner community noticeboard.

The diversity of the ward means I have a lot more meetings than most Councillors, but I'm privileged to see our city in all its wonderful differences.
