🚨📹 Safer Leeds has been able to secure funding to install a CCTV camera on Brick Street in Leeds City Centre.

This is part of the Problem Solving Group focusing on Penny Pocket Park and the surrounding area.

This area has a high volume of antisocial behaviour and drug related, with links to wider organised crime.

This in turn feeds the drug supply runs into the inner city communities, such as Beeston Hill and the Longroyds, and parts of Hunslet.

We're currently working to put pressure on the owner of a nearby abandoned building to bring forward their re-development plans, as its current condition is helping to facilitate this behaviour.

The Council and West Yorkshire Police - Leeds City and West Yorkshire Police - Leeds South will continue to work together to take these issues.
