From 27/2/22 to 21/3/22 there will be road closures in the city centre in order to undertake the resurfacing of the roads included on the Corn Exchange scheme and New Briggate. Roads will be closed from 20:00 until 05:00. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained, otherwise there will be no vehicle access
Buses will be temporarily diverted, and signs will be placed at bus stops with information on alternative stops. For drivers, diversion routes will be clearly sign posted.
This work will be noisy as we need to use heavy plant machinery to plane the top 50mm of the road. Connecting Leeds will try to get the very noisy work completed as early into the shifts as possible.
