 Today I chaired City Plans Panel on behalf of Cllr Heselwood, as she couldn't attend.

The planning panel heard a position statement on the progress of the Elland Road redevelopment, which is by far one of the most complex the city has had to assess in decades.

No decisions were made today, but it says afforded planning panel members to ask questions of the applicant and planning officers, and raise areas they would like explored before it returns for a planning decision.

The main areas of focus were highways and transport, greenspace provision, local job provision, and energy sustainability.
