Veras Flavours licence update

Following conversations between West Yorkshire Police, the Licensing Authority, and Safer Strong Communities, it transpires the applicant does not want to extend the hours of operation at the premises, which was the main concern of partners agencies and myself.

It was believed this would only benefit the premises by allowing them to access the later evening off-site sales market in the area, which is the main focus of the new Culminative Impact Zone.

On this basis, the application would be acceptable for the purpose of onsite sampling, at one table within the venue, as applied for and no objection will be logged.

However, if there any future variation requests for extension into the later evening market, which would clearly add to the saturated off-license market in the area, I will object to any extension of hours.
