ℹ️ BEESTON HILL MISSED GREEN COLLECTIONS

As many residents will be aware, we've had some significant issues with green bins not being collected over the last three to four weeks.
This is due to a combination of normal annual leave, which has not been unusual for the time of year, compounded by unexpected emergency absences and sickness, meaning the regular crew in the area was pretty much out of operation for an extended period.
Beeston Hill is complicated to collect due to the number of back streets and tight corners corners and so the stand in teams that were deployed to cover the unexpected amount of absence didn't have the local knowledge, which led to the several streets not being collected for several cycles.
Some of the missed green bins were recovered on Friday and I've been able to arrange for a recovery crew to work solely on green bins on Beeston Hill tomorrow.
This will also include the Dobsons which also had issues as well.
I've been informed the normal green bin crew is fully back and we are thus not expecting any other issues, outside at the normal poems created by unexpectedly bad weather etc.
I will catch up with staff tomorrow after the recovery to see what is still outstanding and try to arrange additional collections where necessary. But hopefully once we get back into the normal cycle this should all be resolved.
