ARMISTICE DAY

 When the guns fell silent on this day in 1918, Europe emerged out of its most bloody war in its history.

We remember those who lost their lives, and those who came back forever traumatised in that war, and those that followed.

I attended the short memorial service at St. Peter's Court in Beeston today, and I also laid Wreaths of Remembrance at the memorial in Hunslet Community Hub and Library, and Holbeck Cemetery, just on the ward border.
