🚧💦 BEANIE BLOCK DRAINS CLEANING: ATKINSON STREET, NATIONAL ROAD, AND OLD MILL LANE

The highway gully cleansing team will be working nights for the next three nights cleaning the beanie block drainage from the Roundabout under the A61, going through Atkinson St and National Road to the roundabout at Old Mill lane.

The work will be between 20:00 and 03:00.

I've been trying to get these beanie block drains for two years, so I'm sorry for any noise that will happen, but we need to get them cleared to prevent local flooding.

In addition, Highways Leeds Teams are going to try get some test boring done at the same time, hopefully tonight, and this will be slightly more noisy. They also plan to fix the broken barrier at the South Accommodation Road roundabout.
