DE-LEAFING PROGRAM

 On Friday, the Hunslet Cleaner Neighbourhoods operational team was joined by the road sweeping team to address key hotspot areas across the ward.

Both teams dedicated the full day to this task and successfully removed a significant volume of leaves and litter.

Locations visited included: A639 Low Road, Old Run Road, Church Street, The Oval and the ginnels that run into Morrisons, Grove Road, Whitfield Estate, Rochford Estate, Balmoral Chase, Belinda Street

The Hunslet team is scheduled to carry out another round of de-leafing on 24.10.2025.

As with the previous round, they'll continue to use a targeted approach, leveraging the extensive local knowledge staff, historic mapping data, publicly highlighted areas, contact centre reports and councillor referrals.
