DE LEAFING PROGRAM IN HUNSLET

 On Friday, the Hunslet Cleaner Neighbourhoods operational team was joined by the road sweeping team to address key hotspot areas across the ward for the second week of the de-leafing work.

Both teams dedicated the full day to this task and successfully removed a significant volume of leaves and litter.

Locations visited included: Locations visited included: Moor Road, Sandon Estate, Woodhouse Hill, Clayton Estate, Hunslet Road, Dewsbury Road, Balm Road & all councillor referrals.

The Hunslet team is scheduled to carry out another round of de-leafing on 31.10.25 and 1.11.25.

As with the previous round, they'll continue to use a targeted approach, leveraging the extensive local knowledge staff, historic mapping data, publicly highlighted areas, contact centre reports and councillor referrals.
