DE-LEAFING PROGRAM IN HUNSLET

 On Friday and Saturday, the Hunslet Cleaner Neighbourhoods operational team was joined by the road sweeping team to address key hotspot areas across the ward for the second week of the de-leafing work.

Both teams dedicated the full day to this task and successfully removed a significant volume of leaves and litter.

Locations visited included: Whitfield Square, Tulip Street, Beza Road, Hunslet Road, Low Road A639, Joseph Street, Cross Myrtle Street, Kidacre Street, Greenmount Terrace and off streets, Rocheford Close, Rocheford Gardens, Grove Road, Church Street, Lupton Street, Burton Road and off streets and all councillor referrals.

The Hunslet team is scheduled to carry out another round of de-leafing on the 7.11.25.

As with the previous round, they'll continue to use a targeted approach, leveraging the extensive local knowledge staff, historic mapping data, publicly highlighted areas, contact centre reports and councillor referrals.
