Further Pontefract Road update

 Northern Powergrid have completed work on their High voltage cables to make the asset safe. This has allowed for Yorkshire Water to commence the necessary repairs on their water main.

There is significant consequential damage to the carriageway, which is still to be repaired. We are continuing to work with Yorkshire Water to get this repaired as quickly as possible.

The end date for these works is currently unknown, however remedial work will continue throughout the weekend and a further update will be provided early next week.
