Leeds sea cadets visit

 It was great to visit the Leeds Sea Cadets tonight with Cllr Dowson and Cllr Hinchcliffe, the Council's Armed Forces Champions.

It was good to speak to the chair of the civilian management board about their plans and the needs of the unit.

We'll now be working closely with them to achieve these aims, strengthening the unit and Leeds long and deep ties to the navy.
