Police Prevent Ride Out In Hunslet

At approximately 16:00 yesterday the police received intelligence in relation to a potential ride out taking place at an unknown location within Leeds. At 18:12 they received a report of approximately 25-30 off road bikes and quads gathering in the Hunslet area, making their way towards the city centre. A number of police units were available to respond including officers from Neighbourhood Policing, the Leeds District Off Road bike team and traffic.

The group of riders were intercepted by police within the Hunslet area and dispersed across the city.

Throughout the evening, the police made 6 arrests in relation to the ride out at various locations across the district. All suspects are currently in police custody and the investigation continues.
