Pride of Place Hunslet

 Thank you to Swarthmore Education Centre for running this amazing project at Involve Leeds.

Both as the local councillor and Chair of Trustees at the centre, it has been amazing to see how the Pride of Place project allowed so many Hunslet residents to express pride in their community via a variety of art forms.

As a centre, we hope to find new projects to work on.

It was also brilliant to hear the Song of Hunslet, created by residents with the support of Opera North, performed by local people themselves.

Thank you to every single person helping ensure our community is seen, is heard, and celebrated.
