Roadworks: Temporary Prohibition of Traffic on Low Road/Old Mill Lane/Balmoral Chase

In the interests of public safety to allow for road resurfacing work, it is considered necessary to prohibit vehicular use of:

1. Old Mill Lane, Hunslet between its junctions with Gibraltar Island Road and Low Road

2. Low Road, outbound between its junctions with Old Mill Lane and Severn Road

3. Balmoral Chase, no right turn onto Low Road.

A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via;

1. Gibraltar Island Road, Severn Way, Severn Road

2. Old Mill Lane, Gibraltar Island Road, Severn Way, Severn Road and vice versa

3. Low Road, Old Mill Lane, Gibraltar Island Road, Severn Way, Severn Road.

Access to pedestrians, property and for emergency vehicles and construction traffic will be maintained.

The works are to take place from 16/8/21 until 21/8/21 between the hours of 19:00 and 05:00. The road will be reopened outside of these times.
