💦👷‍♀️ Yorkshire Water is carrying out urgent repairs to a burst water main on Pontefract Road.

In order to carry out the works safely there will be closure of Pontefract Road from the junction of Queen Street to the junction of Skelton Grange Road. A diversion route will be signed via The A639, Leeds Road to Pontefract Road Link.

The exact duration of the closure is currently unknown until the volume of consequential damage, which based on the attached photo appears to be substantial, is fully exposed.

Essential access to properties and emergency access will be maintained at all times.
