It has been another busy few weeks and so here is a roundup of all the meetings or events I have attended I haven't already mentioned so fair. All this is on top of my casework.

On Sunday, 18th of May, I have been catching up on projects for other groups I'm involved in, such as updating the Hunslet Festival website, prepping PR for Litter Free Hunslet, and the Friends of Cross Flatts Park Bands in the Park.
On Friday, 16th of May, I meet with Bruce Davies, the Chair of Garnets and Oakleys Tenants and Residents Association, to discuss his plans for the group, including area walks, litter picks, and community events.
On Thursday 15th of May, I helped Hunslet Carr Primary School to observe their last SATS exam and see the opening and collection of the exam papers.
I also attend the working group at Hamara Healthy Living Centre, run by Season Well, looking to create a food-growing support network for the ward.
I then dropped by the end of the Crescent Grange residents' meeting and spoke with a number of residents about local concerns.
On Wednesday, 14th of May, I attended the Leeds City Council Joint Plans Panel Chairs update and received updates on the ongoing work of the service and the work towards the development of Leeds Local Plan 2040.
In the evening, I attended the FoodCycle West Yorkshire meal at St. Lukes Church, Holbeck and caught up with residents.
On Tuesday, 13th of May, I attended the Development Plans Panel, where we recommend the Executive Board begin the consultation of the Leeds Local Plan 2040.
On Monday, 12th of May, I joined the other Lead Members for Equality to provide an update on my work as a Lead Member for Men’s Health, which included future events being planned with Men's Health Unlocked and work towards the national consultation to develop a men’s health strategy.
I then met with my local Greenspace manager to discuss several ongoing park improvement projects and future plans we have. We also looked at several issues on park land and how we planned to address them.
In the evening, I attended the Labour Group AGM Part Two, where I was recommended to the Council to be recommended as the Chair of the South and West Plans Panel.
On Thursday 8th of May, I joined Cllr Pryor and Maloney for the “official” opening of the new footbridge at Armley Gyratory; photo to follow once released.
In the afternoon I attended an online meeting at Hunslet St Mary’s Primary Academy to discuss with inspectors how the school was implementing its Christian vision as a CofE school.
On Tuesday, 6th of May, I attended a working group on road gritting. In the evening, I attended the Labour Group AGM Part One, where fellow Labour councillors elected me to remain secretary of the group.
