Active Travel Scheme Church Street to Balm Road Phase 1

Work begins in early July starting between the A639/Low Road junction up to Belinda Street.

The attached map shows where the roadwork will happen and where the cycle lane is positioned. The cycle lane will go behind the bus shelter for a safer environment.

Nearby residents affected by the roadworks have been written to and Low Road Primary School has been advised as well.

There will be some disruption to the highway network and at times there will be a two-way and three-way temporary traffic lights when works are at Belinda Street.

The roadworks will be between 09:30-15:30 and last for around six weeks once they start.
