ANTISOCIAL BEHAVIOUR AROUND THE PENNY HILL CENTRE

I’ve been provided an update around the ongoing youth related antisocial behaviour near Hunslet Community Hub and Library, Involve and the Penny Hill Centre.

West Yorkshire Police, Leeds Antisocial Behaviour, Capable Guardians and the Leeds Youth Service are aware of the individuals, and many have received legal orders already relate to their behaviour.

Officers are working to support these young people to make better choices and to not criminalise them from the off.

However, it is important for traders and residents to report ongoing issues as they happen. Sadly, services are receiving very limited reporting – which makes justifying allocating resources difficult.

To ensure the targeted work can continue, we’re encouraging residents and business to please report issues.
