It was good to attend the 39th Asha Leeds Annual General meeting today at Rowland Road Wmc.
ASHA continues its long work of investing in women across Beeston, helping them develop new skills which support them day-to-day and improve their employability.
It was good to meet Alia Nessa, who will be the new CEO of ASHA at the start of 2025. We had a good chat about some strategic investments in the service, as Mohammed and I are keen to be supportive.
ASHA also depends on volunteers, so if you have the time and capacity to help this fantastic womens charity in Beeston, please do contact them.
