CHANGES TO THE 444/446 BUS SERVICE

Arriva have announced significant bus service charges - I'll post all of these later.

With respect to the above proposal, terminating this service(s) at the bus station will remove the link up to the station, and close to the Headrow and Leeds General Infirmary.

This means residents using the service will have to change and pay a second fare.

This service could be revised and become more profitable should it continue but divert down Clarence Road and across Crown Point bridge, which would avoid the delays on South Accommodation Road.

It could also link Leeds Dock with the station, creating an event more attractive and profitable route.

I will be writing to both the West Yorkshire Combined Authority and Arriva to make these points. There is a great opportunity being missed that is a win-win for all parties.
