🚏 FIRST BUS WEST YORKSHIRE SERVICE CHANGE - WHITEHALL ROAD

I've just received the following email from First Bus West Yorkshire

Dear Councillor

I am writing to make you aware of changes across our Leeds network which are designed to improve reliability and punctuality. These will come into effect from 31 August.

Five services that currently use Whitehall Road will change to a new route via Wellington Street and Armley Gyratory for outbound journeys and Armley Gyratory and Park Lane inbound.

This is due to reduced width on Whitehall Road for passing large vehicles.

We are hopeful this change of stops will not cause too much disruption to journeys as the position of new stopping points on Westgate for inbound and Wellington Street outbound will mean a 10-minute walk or less to Whitehall Road.

There will also be a terminus change for our services in Pudsey, with the 4 terminating at Highfield Green to avoid wait times in the bus station while the 4F will terminate at the bus station after completing a loop of Fartown.
