HUNSLET MOOR OVERGROWN VEGETATION

Clearance work of the overgrown vegetation used by drug users on Hunslet Moor in the area known as The Grove is well underway - as promised by Mohammed and I.

It's always disappointing when we have to remove vegetation on scale, but public safety is always the number one priority. It will also create a new usable area for residents.

Combined with the work of West Yorkshire Police and the Leeds Antisocial Behavior Team to close drug dealing properties in the area, these are significant steps to reducing drug related crime and antisocial behavior in this part of the ward.
