PENNY POCKET PARK – LEEDS CITY CENTRE

Following ongoing complaints around antisocial behaviour, drugs, and other activity on the greenspace opposite the Leeds Minster, I asked officers to look to how issues at this location can be addressed.

A site visit has taken place today and it has been agreed that a multi-agency Problem Solving Group needs to be established to tackle issues specifically at this location – this will include West Yorkshire Police, Leeds Antisocial Behaviour, Greenspaces, and others.

I have asked of our Greenspaces Team to come up with proposals to regenerate this space and support agencies to build out some of the issues at this location.

Work will start on this in earnest, and I will provide a more detailed update when I have it.
