From the early hours of the 24/12/21, Network Rail will be carrying out a major project to lift, replace and completely remodel the tracks between platforms 4 and 6. Work will also take place to install and test new overhead wires and signalling equipment to make sure trains can continue to run safely.
Train Services: Network Rail has planned for the majority of the work to take place on Christmas Day and Boxing Day when there are no timetabled train services on this part of the railway.
For the remainder of the holiday period, the following changes will be in place at Leeds Train Station:
27/12/21 - 1/1/22: A reduced train service will run in and out of Leeds Train Station.
2/1/22: There will be limited services to/from Leeds Train Station and bus replacements services will be in place for passengers instead.
3/1/22: A reduced train service will run in and out of Leeds Train Station. Bus replacements will be in place instead.
4/1/22: Normal services will resume.
The multi-storey car park will be closed to the public from the 20/12/21 until the 7/1/22. During this time, accessible parking spaces will still be available.
