Wellington Road (A58) Emergency Closure

YORKSHIRE WATER BURST - WELLINGTON ROAD (A58)

Yorkshire Water are carrying out urgent repairs to a burst water main on Wellington Road (A58) between Gotts Court and Armley Gyratory.

In order to carry out the works safely and until the damage has been exposed there are currently 2 lanes closed, to minimise the period of disruption and we are working with Yorkshire Water to reopen to 2 running lanes by 2pm today, with works continuing after 7pm tonight again with 2 lanes closed and completion overnight.

Please be assured that we are working with colleagues at Yorkshire Water to enable quick completion for this repair.

Network Management and the Traffic Signals team will continue to monitor the situation and updates will be provided as necessary.
