VE day Celebrations

 It was a busy day of attending different VE Day Celebrations. I had a lot of cake!

I particularly enjoyed attending the residence event at Crescent Grange and the Friends of Hunslet Moor Community Hub.

I couldn't get to every event I was invited to, but I found it humbling and deeply rewarding to hear many of the stories and memories people had of this most momentous of days, and of the war in general.
